Date: 10 May 2000.
Medium: Pencil on drawing paper. This was one of a series of scenes I did featuring the starship depicted, the Columbus class USS Magellan. The other drawings are basically close-ups and not much to look at for that reason. I liked the idea of showing the awaiting vessel out the window of an approaching shuttlecraft, which is a nice, dramatic scene. Unfortunately, the perspective of the mother ship skews slightly near the stern (oops). Note also the display image of the ship above the window. |
